Thousands raised for ABM projects through stamp donations

Flinders students tackle a wheels-a-thon to raise $12,000 for World Bicycle Relief

Students from Prep to Year 6 at Matthew Flinders Anglican College on the Sunshine Coast raised more than $12,000 for World Bicycle Relief by designing a wheels-a-thon challenge. And, as an extra activity, students and their families were invited to cycle the equivalent of the Queensland border perimeter – that’s close to 10,000 kilometres!

Ecumenical Patriarch, Pope and Archbishop of Canterbury call for the Protection of Creation

The leaders of the Orthodox, Catholic and Anglican Churches have issued a rare joint statement on the need to protect creation. The message has been released during the Season of Creation, which runs from 1 September, designated as the World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation, to 4 October, the Feast Day of St Francis of Assisi
