Anglicare Facebook 27 May 2020: "Anglicare Southern Queensland acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the Land on which we stand. We acknowledge the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples of our nation and pay our respects to Elders past and present. Today marks the beginning of National Reconciliation Week, which is a time for us to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia. We are all In This Together; every one of us has a role to play when it comes to reconciliation. By playing our part we collectively build relationships and communities that value Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, histories and cultures. Pictured is our Children and Families team in Gympie: Andy Nethercott, Al-Kabir Ramji and Sue Mills."

Coomera Anglican College Facebook on 28 May 2020: "Year 12 Visual Art students, collectively, implemented their ‘Imaginarium’ photo shoot today. The Senior class utilised The Pod, our future-focused centre located in the Primary campus, which features the latest in immersive and interactive technology. The Pod has been designed to take learning out of the traditional classroom. The photo shoot coincided with the 'Art as Alternate' unit. Each slide was purposely creative and put together by Mikayla Melhem, to enhance each photographic scene. This week Ms Liz Hampson wanted her students to go straight back to being creative and innovative."

Holy Trinity, Fortitude Valley Facebook on 15 May 2020: "Thank you Fortitude Valley State Secondary College for your very generous donations which will be used for food parcels for our Pantry. We are very grateful for your support. Your team and your students are in our prayers during this challenging time. We look forward to seeing your students, parents and carers make their daily trek up the hill very soon."

Hillbrook Anglican College Facebook on 28 May 2020: "This year, Hillbrook is embracing the two themes of Reconciliation Week (27 May-3 June) – 'In This Together' and 'Racism Stops Here'. We would like to invite our community to share what reconciliation means to us all, by decorating a hand print in a way that represents your thoughts and sentiments on reconciliation. These prints will be displayed on our front lawn next week. If you’d like to be a part of this installation, you can collect a hand print from Reception or download the template...The dates for National Reconciliation Week remain the same each year; 27 May to 3 June. These dates commemorate two significant milestones in the reconciliation journey — the successful 1967 referendum and the High Court Mabo decision respectively."

Anglicare Facebook 22 May 2020: "We truly are surrounded by an amazing community. A BIG thankyou to Origin Energy for their generous donation of $1,800 in vouchers to our Children and Families Team in Roma. These vouchers were able to support 5 adults and 13 children in accessing locally purchased winter clothing and 3 devices to help with staying connected with services, support and family members during isolation and COVID-19 restrictions. Donations like these make such a difference to the lives of families we support and work with in Roma. Thank you. Pictured are Helen from Anglicare Southern Queensland, Children and Families Team in Roma and Sue from Origin."

The Rev'd Lizzie Gaitskell from St Mark's, Warwick on Facebook on 22 May 2020: "This week I tried to be more mindful, capturing a few pictures of the 'little things' that I walked by – beautiful spaces, the details of buildings, flowers, or places to just sit and be (when it's warmer and we're not so socially distant!)...Here are a few moments to add to the Hope Journal. Rev'd Lizzie."

Mission to Seafarers (MTS) Brisbane Facebook on 6 May 2020: "On a daily basis we receive small reminders of how generous many people in our community are. While a small section of the maritime community know who we are and what we do, that group is growing organically within our wider community through broader communications, social media, networking, Brisbane Open House and the traditional media. Thanks to these communications channels, wonderful people like Jan Kemp and her friends from RQYS (Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron) who heard about our donation campaign through the MSQ Bulletin, have put together a compilation of games, books and activities for distribution to our seafarers in our 'care packages'. A big shout out to Jan and her friends for their care and generosity to our seafarers. If you would like to donate to our 'care package' campaign to assist our seafarers, please inbox us on Facebook, email us on or call us on 07 3895 1181."

It was an opportunity for our younger students to get active and also a practical way for the Year 11 Fitness class to apply their learning from this term. Students in Year 11 are completing a CrossFit unit as part of their Certificate III course, and did a fantastic job demonstrating their knowledge and leadership throughout the session."
