The Parish of All Saints', Booval

The Parish of All Saints’ Booval will celebrate 125 years of ministry on Sunday 16 May 2021, with a service at 9 am presided by Archbishop Phillip Aspinall. Previous parishioners and all interested people are invited to join in this service at the church, located at 144 Brisbane Road, Booval. The rescheduled Annual Chrism Eucharist and Renewal of Ordination Vows will be held on Thursday 22 April at 7.00 pm in St John’s Cathedral. The Liturgical colour will be white. Canons, Area Deans and Archdeacons are invited to wear copes. For planning purposes, please register your intention to attend.

Rebecca will implement programs and initiatives that support clergy wellbeing and professional and ministerial development, including assisting with the roll out of the professional supervision program. St Mark's Anglican Church (Parish of The Gap)

St Marks’ Anglican Church, The Gap, will mark and celebrate 100 years of worship with a special centenary service on Sunday 25 April 2021 at 9 am. Bishop Jeremy Greaves will preside and preach at the service. The service will feature an audiovisual presentation, musical performances, and a blessing of the second edition of John Stalley’s book about the history of St Mark’s. There will also be a display showcasing the past 100 years of life in The Gap. See more.

Anniversary

Christ Church, Murgon (Parish of Barambah)

Christ Church, Murgon, Parish of Barambah, will celebrate its centenary anniversary (1920–2020) on Sunday 11 April 2021, with a Eucharist and service of thanksgiving at 10 am with Archbishop Phillip Aspinall presiding and preaching. The service will be followed by refreshments in the Parish Hall. A comprehensive history of Christ Church, Murgon, celebrating 100 years of Anglicanism in the area, will be available.
