Andrea Colledge

Andrea Colledge has been appointed to the role of Chaplaincy Services Manager, Parishes and Other Mission Agencies Commission, and will commence in the role on Tuesday 28 January 2020. Andrea will support and coordinate the Anglican Church Southern Queensland’s chaplaincy services in hospitals, prisons and the Queensland Police Service. Congratulations to Andrea.

The Reverend Karen Allen has been appointed as Priest-in-Charge of the Parish of Atherton in the Diocese of North Queensland. Her Commissioning was held on Friday 22 November 2019 at St Mary’s Church, Atherton. Congratulations to Karen.

Stephen Clarke

Stephen Clarke, Business Manager for St Francis College, will retire at the end of January 2020. An open farewell with drinks and nibbles will be held on Thursday 30 January 2020, 5.30 pm at Old Bishopsbourne, St Francis College. All are welcome. For catering purposes, please RSVP online. Sailing, kayaking and on shore volunteers for Sails at Bayside

The friendly team at Sails at Bayside, in the Wynnum-Cleveland area, is seeking volunteers for roles both on and off the water, including the weekly fundraising BBQ’s at Bunnings Capalaba. Sails at Bayside is a not for profit community outreach initiative offering sailing and kayaking activities for at-risk youth, vulnerable and disadvantaged members of the community and the general public. Get involved and help make a difference to lives of many.
