The Parish of Gayndah is seeking a new parish priest. The Parish is situated in the Wide Bay area of Queensland along fertile plains beside the Burnett River, in the most northern area of the Diocese. The Parish is seeking a God-centred and Spirit-filled leader who engages with scripture, connects theology to everyday life, and is able to nurture parishioners through spiritual practices such as prayer, worship, study and service. The Parish of Tamborine Mountain is seeking a new parish priest. The parish is located in scenic hinterland, 40 minutes from the Gold Coast beaches, with the principal church (St George’s) located in Eagle Heights and an additional church (St Luke’s) located in Canungra. The parish priest will be supported by three retired priests, a clerical assistant, a number of liturgical assistants and dedicated volunteers. The parish is a friendly, hospitable and socially-minded community, with a focus on outreach activities. The rectory is a large family-sized home based in Eagle Heights. The parish is seeking a compassionate, enthusiastic and energetic priest, who is solid in Anglican identity and in knowledge of the scriptures. See more.
