Anglicare SQ Facebook on 29 July 2020: "Christmas has come early for our residents and staff in Bundaberg’s Meilene Residential Aged Care Home who celebrated Christmas in July! Jolly celebrations were had with music, Christmas goodies and decorations! Our residents particularly loved the traditional roast dinner, trifle and Christmas pudding for dessert. Yum!"

Parish of Warwick Facebook on 28 July 2020: "We celebrated the baptism of Colton Wyatt at Christ Church Killarney last Sunday; a beautiful morning blessed with a little rain! West Moreton Anglican College Facebook on 24 July 2020: "A special morning for our Year 1 students today with a visit from the QFES Brassall firefighters. They learnt about fire safety, what to do in the event of a fire and even had a chance to spray the fire hose! A big thank you to the firefighters for such an important and fun morning."

The Southport School Facebook on 31 July 2020: "At a special Chapel service today, we celebrated three important traditions. The Induction of two new Senior Prefects to the fold, the blessing of the Statue of St Alban and we unveiled and blessed new Senior School House banners that hang from the Chapel ceiling. House banners have draped the walls of St Alban's for the past 40 years in some cases, and these recommissioned hangings reflect the unique House pride we have at TSS."

Community of the Way Facebook on 7 July 2020: "We are spoiled! Just had the most amazing couple of days away in Mooloolaba to forget about uni, stress and to just be together as a community. Thanks, Jazz, for the awesome food and leadership and Richard and Bishop Jeremy for joining us."

Mission to Seafarers Facebook on 26 July 2020: "We were delighted to have a visit from some of the amazing team from the Mothers Union at St Faith's Anglican Church Strathpine earlier this month. These wonderful ladies donated a handful of scarves, beanies and other clothing to keep our seafarers nice and cozy this winter. Pam even surprised us with a beautiful orange cake she baked for morning tea! Thank you so much Pat, Pam, Jake and the rest of the team from the St Faith’s Church Strathpine for everything; we can’t thank you enough for your continued support of The Mission To Seafarers."

Bishop Cam Venables had a skin cancer removed from his cheek on 29 July 2020, with 24 stitches to his face showing the margins. Queensland has the highest rate of skin cancer in the world, so Bishop Cam recommends that all Queenslanders get a skin check each year. For more information, visit the Cancer Council Queensland website and use the free online Cancer Risk Calculator.

St Paul's School Facebook on 21 July 2020: "Today our Year 11 fitness class ran a Community Fitness Session with Prep students as their real-world clients. The program was tailored to suit the fitness level of younger students and focused on developing gross motor skills. The activity complements the Prep Immersion Studies Time (IST) unit, which is centered on the theme ‘physical strength’ this semester. Students will continue looking at body movement throughout the term."

Bishop Jeremy Greaves Facebook on 28 July 2020: "It was great to be at The Gap on Sunday and to wrestle with three challenging readings – Jacob working for a wife, the promise of good things to those who love God and the problematic parables of hidden treasure and a pearl of great price. For Christians who take the scriptures seriously there is much to be gained from reading them carefully and sitting with them awhile before rushing to make sense of them too quickly."

Toowoomba Anglican School Facebook on 18 July 2020: "The welcome return of TAS Sport and fixtures: Good luck to TAS United Football Club, TAS Rugby Club, TAS Tennis and TAS Netball Club. 47 fixtures to enjoy this weekend involving TAS teams. Have a great season all players, coaches and spectators."

Anglicare SQ Facebook on 31 July 2020: "Meet Georgina – she’s a creative thinker, an ideas woman and a Home Care Worker. She’s constantly thinking up new ways to make her and her colleagues’ jobs easier. Pre-COVID, Georgina was making these wonderful bags with the craft ladies in our respite groups. These bags are utilised by all our staff on a regular basis. They are a very popular item and disappear quickly. Our staff use them to hold their equipment on the job, and while the bags don’t replace the staff’s work bags, it does make things much easier to find. Even after our respite groups were put on hold, the wonderful Georgina has still been making the bags for her peers. Thanks Georgina for always going above and beyond!"
