A joyful occasion on 11 October 2020 for AMUA when St John’s Cathedral Dean The Very Rev'd Dr Peter Catt reopened the Cathedral branch that closed 19 years ago, commissioned Branch President Eleanor Mancini and new members, and recommitted members who rejoined.

Maureen’s advice for a happy marriage is “consideration for each other, always talking things through,” she said. “Life is full of challengers. One of our memories is our fishing trips, missing the tides and having to pull our boat through all the mud at low tide, that was a challenge.” They remind us that it's all about living life in the moment and taking life one step at a time."

West Moreton Anglican College Facebook on 23 October 2020: "The College's Year 2 students were today involved in a special day camp on campus. Students participated in lots of team building and group activities where they were challenged to work together to avoid obstacles. Students also worked in teams in a special race on the climbing equipment where they had to work out for themselves which students would climb to particular heights to grab team flags before climbing down and sending the next team member up. Well done to all Year 2 students involved today."

They were immersed in a day of cultural activities and storytelling, tuning in to Indigenous Australian, Japanese, South African Indian, and Maori experiences. Fascinated and engaged faces filled the classrooms, which were led by some parents and friends of the College community."

St Paul's School Facebook on 22 October 2020: "This week some of our Year 5 students took their mathematics class out and about on campus. Mrs Connolly’s class, who are learning about money and budgeting, weighed and bagged freshly dug potatoes from the SPS Community Garden. The students then visited classrooms in the Junior School to offer the organic produce to staff. This was a great way for our students to simultaneously experience real-world applications of mathematics and to get involved with the SPS community."

Broadcaster Melissa Downes and Churchie student John Law at a Preparatory School Virtual Open Day on 14 October 2020. Melissa Downes was the host of the virtual open days, which were live streamed on Facebook. Year 6 boys are currently investigating some scientific curiosities they are wanting to learn more about, and Melissa is interviewing John about his research into Formula One cars.
