Anglican Parish of Bundaberg Facebook on 14 December 2020: "Painting of The Visitation, commissioned by MU Bundaberg in memory of member Vi Rackemann’s mother, Gladys Staib. We also had the pleasure of unveiling a beautiful wood sculpture of Mary and the infant Jesus by Engelbert Piccolruaz, given in memory of Betty Kingston. Both pieces are wonderful additions to the church. Kerry Holland comes with the added bonus of her husband Bishop Johnathon who joined us for worship and dedicated and blessed both of the artworks."

On 1 December 2020, clergy and staff of St Francis College gathered at Park Road Coffee Club to thank The Rev’d Jonathan Kemp for his extraordinary contribution to Diocesan Anglican Youth, Children and Families ministry. After nine years as Director of AYCF, Jonathan was ordained a priest on 5 December, and will continue being awesome at Kenmore Parish.

On 6 December 2020, The Rev'd Canon Gary Harch spoke at a vigil for the 100+ men detained at Kangaroo Point Central Hotel. He was joined by dozens of other Christians, including Anglicans.

St Margaret’s Anglican Girls School has been named the country’s top Boarding School for the second year running in the prestigious Australian Education Awards. Home to more than 185 boarders and 1080 students overall, St Margaret’s also won an Excellence Award for Best STEM Program and Principal Ros Curtis won a School Principal of the Year Non-Government Excellence Award. The accolades come only weeks after St Margaret’s won a 2020 Innovation Award and the school’s Head of Boarding, Lesa Fowler (pictured), was named among the country’s top boarding school leaders, winning the Australian Boarding Schools Association Premier Leadership Award.
