For the fourth year running, Anglicare Southern Queensland has been named as Australia’s Most Trusted Brand in Aged Care and Retirement Villages in the annual Reader’s Digest survey.
The 2022 Trusted Brands survey was independently conducted by leading research company Catalyst Research. It invited a sample of over 3,000 Australian adults, from every state and territory, to rate the brands they trust the most. They scored over 75 categories of products and services across a broad range of industries.

Supporting Queenslanders for more than 150 years, Anglicare Southern Queensland is one of the state’s most experienced and trusted in-home, retirement and aged care providers and has over 3,000 dedicated and experienced staff, supported by more than 600 generous volunteers.
Anglicare’s client-centric models ensure best-practice care across all its in-home, retirement and aged care services. Staff focus on every individual’s specific needs, goals, interests and passions, supporting them to live the life they want.
Help at Home client Audrey Doyle is appreciative of the wonderful care and support she receives from Anglicare.
“Anglicare provides an excellent service, and our community is really fortunate to have very caring staff who go above and beyond their duties to look after us,” Ms Doyle said.
Anglicare SQ Executive Director Sue Cooke praised all staff, particularly aged care staff across the industry, for rising to the challenges and obstacles the past two years have presented to them.
“The pandemic has presented significant change and challenges over the past two years, and our staff have really done an exceptional job to ensure the quality care and continuity of care is provided to all our clients,” Mrs Cooke said.

“As we’re not out of the woods just yet with the ongoing pandemic, even if the broader community strives to move on from COVID, our frontline workforce continues to train and improve infection control practices to keep our clients and residents safe.”
Mrs Cooke said the recognition of the Trusted Brands award was well-deserved and thanked everyone who has played a role in supporting our clients and residents over the past 12 months.
“For a provider of essential health care services to older Queenslanders, the power of trust cannot be understated,” she said.
“We are with people in some of their most difficult and vulnerable moments. Our residents, clients and their families rely on us every day to provide them with the best possible care and support.
“I am really proud and honoured that we have received this recognition for the fourth year in a row from Australian consumers.
“Our residential and community aged care staff do an amazing job, and they are backed up by a dedicated team of support services from across the organisation.”
UnitingCare and Australian Unity received highly commended in the Aged Care and Retirement Villages category.
