"I took this photo in St Paul’s Church in Maryborough. Beginning about six to seven years ago, I began placing Mary on the altar to remind people that Advent is a time of waiting, preparation and expectation. We never seem to think about Mary as being pregnant. We tend to go straight from the annunciation to the birth. Yet for me, her pregnancy is all about the love, hope and joy that is God Emmanuel."
