Salam El-merebi is a social worker and art psychotherapist and Chair of Muslim human rights group AMARAH. She has a Bachelor of Arts (Social sciences) from QUT, a Masters in Social Work from QUT, a Graduate Diploma in Art Psychotherapy (IKON institute), a Diploma in Youth Work and Juvenile Justice and a Cert. 4 in Mental Health from Yeronga TAFE).
