Thousands raised for ABM projects through stamp donations

“I recently asked a couple, ‘Why do you buy stamps from Diocesan Anglican Board of Mission (ABM) auctions?’ and they replied, ‘Because of a trip to the tip.’ I couldn’t leave the conversation there. Flinders students tackle a wheels-a-thon to raise $12,000 for World Bicycle Relief

Students from Prep to Year 6 at Matthew Flinders Anglican College on the Sunshine Coast raised more than $12,000 for World Bicycle Relief by designing a wheels-a-thon challenge. And, as an extra activity, students and their families were invited to cycle the equivalent of the Queensland border perimeter – that’s close to 10,000 kilometres!

In November 2020, Mission to Seafarers Brisbane dedicated Volunteer Joey Meldrum spent a day as 'tour guide' for these Kirabati seafarers who had been previously locked down in quarantine in a Brisbane motel for months while awaiting a return flight home
